Sustainability

As part of the construction industry, we strive to minimize the harmful impact on the environment and contribute to the reduction of climate pollution in our activities.

This year, the resolution adopted by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, according to which, from the autumn of next year, all newly constructed public buildings will be required to use at least 50 percent of wood and other organic materials from construction products made from renewable natural resources, is a serious signal that it is time to take action to address the amount of CO2 generated in the industry.

Our first step in this direction is the signing of a financing agreement this year that will help our company develop and implement a new technology – organic material filler (biocomposite). This filler, also called ECO concrete, will replace up to 40 percent of the traditional concrete composition and will become one of the components of prefabricated monolithic structures. And its biggest advantage is that less CO2 is emitted into the environment during production.

In future construction, it will be mandatory to reduce the amount of CO2 and use as many organic materials as possible. Let’s take action now so we can all have a healthier future.
